Our founding story

Founded at Rose-Hulman, Drophouse began with a simple idea: making custom merchandise accessible, personal, and meaningful.

The preliminary platform was built out in two weeks, after which it was advertised to Rose Alum to gauge interest in the idea. The response was so overwhelmingly positive that the company was officially formed.

After an initial pre-seed, Drophouse raised its Seed A round from the Sawmill Angels in June 2023

Drophouse achieved its first major order execution milestone by providing 670 unique t-shirts for the freshman class of 2028.
